That's good advice and good news if it turns out you can get something, however small.
I'm surprised though as the wage is above the minimum wage. It seems odd to me that the minimum wage is set low enough to mean that recipients will always get tax credits. Does the tax credit calculation not factor in other household income?

To do an accurate calculation you would need to know the OP's circumstances -married, widowed any dependant or disabled offspring?
