Don't be too alarmed. It seems that AnswerBank is slow, probably not your computer. Try logging into another website - you may find things are quicker.

Defragging won't make it much quicker, if you have recently had a very niticable drop in performance it's most likely to be spyware or the like.

Download, and run at least Adaware and Spybot from this page. If that doesn't fix it you may need more RAM.
