Let me vent...
Orange / EE now charge to call their 'free' 150 number after 8pm, I don't recall being told about this and only found out 2 minutes into the call just now (at 9.30pm). Is this breach of contract ?
They also charge £2.98 each month for 'non direct debit payment' I was also not informed of this so this may also be a breach of contract. I feel an interesting letter is about to be written ... ripoff merchants EE are, shame a good company like Orange got wound up with them.

They didn't get wound up by them. They were formed out of the merger. It sounds like you need to tell them of your issues though. Customers should be informed if things change.
Good luck.
These companies are normally pretty good at setting these things up properly/covering themselves- there was probably an email or text advising you of changes directing you to their website
