I'm not saying what I've voted for but am expecting Whole Lotta Love by Led Zep to be top, provided the 'kids' of today have actually heard of Jimmy Page et al!!

I can't believe they have included Sweet in that list. It is not what I would call music!

I would struggle to choose a winner but it would be a close call between Sweet Home Alabama and Sweet Child of Mine.
i voted for jet because i do love that guitar bit, but where is plug in baby muse or all my life Foo Fighters or loads of other great stuff. Stones Roses pah ;-)

off to listen to some real music now

Some interesting and good ones on the list however I would have opted for Blue Öyster Cult, Don't fear the reaper over Queen's One vision.

If you only get one vote, simply can't be @rsed registering.

You don't get just one vote, you can vote for as many(or few) as you like.
If you or anyone's interested there's a Documentary tonight called 'The Joy of the Guitar Riff' BBC4 9.00pm. Contributions from the likes of: Dr Brian May, Dave Davis, Joan Jett, Nile Rodgers, Tony Iommi, Johnny Marr... the list goes on.
