I recently bought �25 in Sainsbury gift vouchers and sent them to a friend in a birthday card. On receipt of the card it was found that the envelope had been slit, and the vouchers stolen. The Post Office say normal first class mail should not be used for sending valuables and that I cannot claim. I still have my Visa receipt, can I claim the value back from Visa?

I remember a few years ago two asian postal workers opened a bank account in the name inlandi revenuei and swindled tens of thousands of pounds of tax money, they only got cought when one of them came to work in a ferrari
