What a great little actress "April" is - but do you think she really understands what she is asked to say? It's a bit disturbing as she is so young in real life .... I wonder if it affects her at home, all this storyline about death.
Her lovely little face shows exactly the right expressions at the right time, sadness, worry, surprise, defiance, she doesn't even look as if she is acting, that is what worries me ......... does she understand about dying in real life I wonder?
Agree with Marlon overacting, it's cringeing to watch .............
From Digital Spy...Marlon/Mark Charnock also praised his new on-screen daughter Amelia Flanagan, who is playing the role of April.
"The audience are going to melt," he said. "They're just all going to fall for her - she's wonderful. She's 5 and she's amazing on the lines. You'll be doing a line run with her before a scene and she's mouthing your lines to you. If you make a mistake she'll go, 'Oh, no!'"
