Today, I Defrosted My Upright Freezer

What a difference it has made. I have just been able to take some frozen bread rolls out without having to get a sledgehammer to the drawer to close it again. I will not leave it so long next time.

My big failing with the freezer is putting things in it without labelling them, telling myself I will remember what it is.
We once had friends round for a meal and they were looking forward to my cauliflower soup as the starter.
What I actually dished up was cod in butter sauce.
The job I always hated was cleaning he oven. Mr O does it now

I didn't notice your freezer post when I asked about mine Tilly. I was too busy sorting out frozen berries!
Other than defrosting the freezer, the job I have also been putting off is clearing out the bookcase. Books are lying on top of each other and are now rammed into every spare space. The ones on the top shelves are as dusty as can be and the whole thing needs a complete sort out followed by a trip to the charity bookshop. One day maybe!

Am a bit house proud (some would say OCD) I live in a multi story block of flats.
I have tilt and turn, clean it yourself type of windows. However we suffer from pidgeon droppings when windows are open. I put off cleaning windows. Otherwise id be cleaning them everyday...
As long as the inside is OK I can live with that. (although I HAVE to wash/wipe the outside every week or so).
As far as housework goes I'm a woman's dream, Anything else and I'm a car crash!
