Can I get deep fried Twinkies in the Glasgow district ?

Having said that, you may be hard pressed to find one. It's a bit of an urban myth that Scots eat fried Mars Bars! They are really not that common. Pizzas, fish and sausage are the more usual chip shop fare (fried pizzas are delicious BTW). Your best bet would be just to ask your local chippy to fry you a Mars Bar.

I have never seen it advertised here, Twinkies are expensive to buy. Just make your own or stick with the deep fried Mars Bar!
I've never seen or heard of them in all my years living here.

Try a Mars Bar.....
I've never tasted one, but there is one of the best product placement slots for them in the first Die Hard film

I never heard of Twinkies either until I watched "Die Hard".

I think I'l pass on the deep fried mars but you may be interested to know that Twinkies have been relaunched and are now available from tesco stores.
