Gardening Advice Please

Now the pinks and lavender in my garden have finished flowering do I cut them back now or wait until spring? They are roughly each about1 1/2 foot round.

Yes, you can cut them back now, they may even bloom again!

Agree with chipchopper, I would cut them back now. You may find they will flower quite early next year after a good haircut.

My lavender is still in flower and the bees are still busy collecting the pollen. I'm going to leave mine for a while yet.

From the website of the Royal Horticultural Society:
"Lavenders should be pruned every year to keep them compact. On established plants use secateurs to remove flower stalks and about 2.5cm (1in) of the current year’s growth, making sure that some green growth remains. At Wisley, pruning is undertaken in late summer after flowering, although spring pruning is sometimes recommended in books. Lavender does not break readily from old wood and neglected specimens are best replaced"
