Cats are notorious for breaking into houses of other cats. They eat the food, spread their aroma around and terrify the other cat. It is often a form of bullying. Cats often bully dogs but usually their 'own' dog.

I hope that Tilly managed to deter the visitor.

It's a stray cat that has been 'adopted' by some neighbours. Scrawny, little thing it is.

Lots of feathers in my garden since it arrived on the scene.

Blimey, Yont. That will give me nightmares!
You can't pussyfoot around with them felines.
If I were you I would tell the neighbours that the cat is likely to be attacked by Tilly if she comes in again. Maybe your neighbours will try and deter the cat from coming to your house ( don't know how though ).
Aw Tilly some cats and dogs become great friends, have you seen the cat that leads the blind dog around? In the meantime don't expose Tilly to the cat, she might come off worse xx
Question Author
That's what I'm afraid of, sibs. If the cat gets into the house and Tilly sees it it will be awful.

Yont, as you say, what can the neighbours do to stop it? Stupid cat!
Question Author
Wolf, the cat look exactly like that! Would it travel from Luton to Bedford to have a peek in my house, do you think?
Cats often walk into our kitchen and STAY, I welcome them and look after them. My alter ego is MUG and they all know it. The cats have had their own Internet for years.
