this is the link for the new card I applied for

If you follow this link to Barclaycard's website, you will find that there is a 2.5% fee for balance transfers. The link you showed is a bit of a naughty ad as it doesn't show this.
I believe that the best deal around at he moment is Post Office who only offer 6 months interest free, but looks like (from their advertising) that they have no transfer fee. I have just applied for one, so when it comes through will let you know!
thanks everyone,
is the part correct, when/if the new card and forms arrive i then fill in the part stating that i want to do a balance transfer, and that i want the premership barclaycard. I wont be using the card just trying to get the amount owed down a bit all comments appreciated
P.s just noticed on the site that as long as i transfer before so many days...and it says as long as the transfer isnt over your credit limit, so for example i owe approx 1,600 on my exsiting card if they only give me say 250 credit does that mean i can only transfer 250 of the 1,600?
*confused*
Perhaps I am repeating myself - but the best advice is go to the bank and ask for a Barclaycard Premiership application form. Let them fill it in with you there and they will send it away for approval.
Forget that you applied online - if those forms come back then destroy them.
Rely on your bank - they will get it right for you. But remember - there are four different Barclaycards. You MUST get the Barclaycard Premiership to benefit from 10 months interest free and NO balance transfer fee.
Good luck
