I wonder if there is a correlation between the rise in drunken-passenger figures and the ban on smoking on aircraft?
There is a rise in passenger disruption but I don`t know how much of that is to do with smoking. Some of it possibly. One thing that is true though - there are more disruptive women for some reason.
Certainly not. How on earth would England footballers travel abroad for matches?
i have no objection to anyone having a drink before they fly, i always have a brandy before flying, its the abuse/assault which is unacceptable

Ummmm, I understand your concern flights and air travel, we have been fortunate to do the world on a round trip, OZ 3 times, many places in Europe, on our first flight to OZ passengers were allowed on the Flight Deck, I had a good chat with this B.A.Pilot, it was a 747 Jumbo, after conversing for about half an hour the chat was about the plane & its journeys, he said our flight from H.A. To Singapore were the change crew then flew on to OZ, Change Crew, then on to L.A. then back to H.A. obviously when they come down it's a lot of people and many do not survive, you have more chance getting killed from your area to Wellingborough than you have doing a flight, I understand when in a plane you are not in control, but the person in control will not even take off if he / she knows the plane has a fault, unlike my days of driving, if you did not take the HGV out the option was, find another job, but I am going back many years when Work was easy to find, they dare not ask me in my later days of driving, they would have known my response, x
God forbid Wayne & Waynetta are on same flight, even worse with their bawling, screaming kids. I would change flights pronto.
YES!!
// If they're obviously drunk they shouldn't be allowed on the plane. //

You can't always tell. Apparently the reason that so many people act like *** on planes is that they have a drink but then they also take a few diazepam because they're scared of flying. It's a combination that can turn otherwise normal people into raving lunatics.

As ummmm said, they shouldn't be banned for life unless there's a re-occurence. I'd go for a 3 strikes and you're out policy - depending on the seriousness of the disruption.

Lock them in toilets!
Yes, banned for life from the particular airline they cause problems on.
No, fly them to Syria and make them WALK back !
