Anyone watch this last night and what do you think of it? Robson Green is always worth watching but I must say I think he was overshadowed by the actor who played the priest. Yummy Yummy :-) He played a very sadistic rapist in Happy Valley so I can't imagine why someone would then cast him as a priest, but I'm glad they did.

I've not seen Happy Valley (yes, I live in a cave), so can still fancy the minister and not feel weird about him being a bad man in something else.
I love Robson Green, I think he is a hugely under-rated actor. Looking forward to the rest of it.

Mr P watches his fishing programmes, fluff, and I admit to quite liking them too. He just comes across as being a genuinely nice bloke.
Wire in the Blood was fantastic. I hadn't realised there were so many made. They keep getting repeated on one of the Freeview channels so I record them to watch when I'm child-free. Something a bit odd about watching such gruesome scenes at 4pm when the kids are napping!

Obviously being very pedantic here, but the dog barking in the opening credits was a breed not brought to the UK until 1985! And the GSD police dogs in a future episode are definitely the modern type. Did also wonder about the clock in the inspector's office - looked like a modern battery operated one to me. Easy viewing though, even if there were a lot of clichés in the extras and the scenery.
