Must they labour the point about the school teacher trying to bait Lord Grantham.It really is becoming annoying and as I wrote in a previous comment I think they may be going on too long with it.Hope it doesn't become like last of the summer wine and run for so long it just runs out of ideas.

It's set in 1924 when it was thought that homosexuality could be "cured" by various drugs etc. That's what he's obviously doing.
