Myself and a friend (early 20's males) are going on holiday in June. Nothing has been booked but we are into going on a decent drinking hoiday but without the 18-30, Ayia Napa/Magaluf etc type crowd! Any suggestions of a holiday destination that contains good drinking and relative nightlife but without the whole mental dirty scene that many places have these days??

I went to Salou a few years back and it had excellent nightlife without the 'yob culture'. It suited familys, couples and groups of singles alike and i would highly recommend it as a beautiful, largely unspoilt resort

yeah salou is pretty good and cheap for a holiday. also theres a theme park there in case you fancy doing something different for a day.

other than that Protaras in cyprus is nice, lots of sunshine with great beaches and watersports, plenty of bars etc and a couple of less in your face clubs than its near neighbour Ayia Napa which is only about 20 minutes away should you fancy a larger night on the beer. We hired scooters and had a fab time all round.

You should try Hisaronu in Turkey, i love it there.

My brother whos 25 went last year with a mate & they loved it so much that they decided to stay an extra week.
