Could you help me, please. I am going round in circles at the moment! Bore (5ltrs) s?o?d - the s comes from sustained (clue kept up (9ltrs)) the a from callers (clue visitors) the n from rumination (clue contemplation) and the d from sidestep (clue avoid). Another one, please diverted (6ltrs) ?m?s?d The letters come from the clues given above. Hope this makes sense. Any help much appreciated. Four Clubs

Thank you all very much. I had discounted amused for diverted........ Can you explain stood, please as I cannot find it in any of my dictionaries. Many thanks. Four Clubs
If you can stand something, you can bear it. Past tense.
Bore = withstood = stood
