Ipad Charging Problem

My IPad has suddenly started charging slowly. Any ideas?

Have you bought a new lead recently?

Are you closing down the pages you have viewed, by swiping them upward?

Have tried as snags suggested taken 2hrs to increase by 30%. Panky are you suggesting I need a new cable?

Chrissa no just closing them in normal way. But one thing that I have noticed is that activity symbol is spinning when you don't expect it to be

No Tony, I recently bought a new cable for my iPad on eBay and because it was one of those cheapo ones and not an apple one it takes ages to charge

Just an update - rebooted iPad as described in links. Working fine now, thanks everyone for your help
