i've just read he is quitting show business does anybody know why ?

all I've read is that he wants to spend more time with his family and is leaving comedy after this latest tour.

I won't miss him or his humour. I always thought he was as funny as dandruff.
I hope though, that he's not giving up because of illness. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

it has been recorded many a time about how much he does love his wife (which is wonderful) and he does dote on his daughter, as much as a busy man can. I wish him well.

On radio 2, he said he was exausted. well I could have told him that!

I recon he will come back after a rest and concentrate on acting in movies.
