Does it affect you if you wear certain colours? If i wear red it always makes me feel brighter and puts a spring in my step.. I could never wear anything beige.

I like pinks, not sugary Barbie pinks. I love most colours. Black always makes me serious and I feel that I have to behave properly and act like a grown up. White? Rarely, I think that the British complexion looks awful in white. That's why I hate to see brides in white froth. They would look so much better in creams.
So, bottom line? Yes, I think that colours CAN and sometimes do, affect my moods and attitudes.

My friend went through a bout of depression in her early twenties and I can remember her dad bought her a bright yellow fleece (it was nicer than it sounds, honest) - she wore it every day for ages. Not sure if it was the fact that her dad had bought her a nice gift, or if it was the colour, but it certainly helped to cheer her up a bit when she wore it.
Years later her dad told me he had done loads of research into colours affecting moods to try and help her as he was really worried and just wanted to help even if it was in a small way such as buying a jumper.
