Slinky - I know of 4 people who have had it recently - 2 have been fine, 1 had a stinking cold and the other pleurisy...............

I have had flu jabs yearly for the last 35 years and have never had a problem.

You're probably more likely to catch something in the GP's waiting room than suffer any problem from the flu jab.

I had a bit of a sore arm for a few days, but that was about it.
