Going to the Good Food Show in Birmingham in the morning. Going with daughter, she is driving us. We go every year. I am all organised as she is picking me up just after nine after school run. I have my shopping trolley sorted, handbag sorted and my clothes sorted. I have to get up very early for me 7.30. Seeing as we rarely are in bed before 2.00 I think I will struggle to be ready. We are going to see the Hairy Bikers in the theatre so could be a good day. Anyone else going to the show?
I thought that Christmas was about buying things for others but I'll bet that you end up buying more treats for yourself than for other people ;-)
I can't say much though, 'cos I bought some small prezzies on Amazon tonight but (because I'd got a '£10 off a £50 spend' voucher) I seem to have ordered one DVD and two CDs for myself as well!
There will be lots of treats for me too Chris. But I've decided no sloe gin. It is expensive there over £20 a bottle, but I've discovered Tesco's have it for £15 so I'll get some there. I usually end up with lots of cheeses, pates and liqueurs.
I'll bet that the cheese won't be cheap, Caran. The specialist shops around here seem to charge upwards of £24 per kilo for many of their offerings. I love cheese but it's got to be very special for me to pay those sort of prices!
