Any crafters out there? I am having problems sticking paper to card when cardmaking. The card curls up at the edges as the glue dries and no matter what I try, I cant get the finished card to lay flat. Even trying to flatten the finished card with my ironing press doesn't work. I have tried various glues with no success.

Anyone any suggestions please? Thanks.

Have you tried "Pritt" or use a PVA adhesive, that is brilliant for sticking paper to anything, good luck, Ray
Have you tried glue dots ???
or double sided tape !
Prittstick and a telephone book over the top until it dries ... make sure the phone book doesn't stick to the card though ....

Many thanks for replies. Will give them a try.
Agree with the others, I try not to use a 'wet glue' unless absolutely necessary as it will warp card and paper. If I have to use a wet glue I will use something like UHU rather than PVA as I find that is the worst offender for warping. I use double sided tape, but that can be very unforgiving with positioning. I use a Pritt stick, a glue pen (Zig 2 way glue) or my favourite is Stix 2 which is glue on a roller not refillable though and at 1.99 a time can get a bit expensive.
Hi all,

There is an addition to Pritt glue - Power Pritt, this is a multipurpose extra strong glue that is even better that the normal Pritt.

Regards
The best glue is called "Tombo" - its similar to a pritt stick but loads loads better for the job. I promise you won't be disappointed if you try it. I get mine from my llocal craft shop but i guess many others sell it and on line craft shops too.
Maybe try some doubled sided tape I find this does keep my cards flat when I use it. I hope you find success by using the tape.
