I notice that your figures (from the Daily Mail!!) show only Eastern European Countries.

What are the figures for Western Countries eg France and Germany.?

Why does that matter?

/// In straight cash terms, British families currently enjoy some of most generous child benefits in the world, with payouts more than twice the rate in France. ///

/// Of the major European economies only Germany pays more in the equivalent of child benefit – a cash refund worth £2,530 a year with extra payouts for parents who are out of work. ///

If only Baz, but we can at least dream of when it was.
Get us out of there !!
I agree with Derek it's time we left,I'd like to see how the French and Germans react to these new payments they're trying to push through when THEY have to make the money available, without the British contributions.
it does indeed seem a strange "club" to be in.
As I have said before, play the game.

Reduce our benefits to the minium in EU, then the problem goes away. Also starts to make work more beneficial for the cum in this country who choose benefit street.

Couldn't agree more. I notice no Europhiles on this thread, I wonder why?
But they 'pay in' more than they 'take out' and they keep the price of Waitrose Organic Asparagus down, lol.
