Why not try to get a saturday job? You could work in a cafe, newsagents, hairdressers etc...granted you'll be able to make food in a cafe itll just have to be dishes, clearing tables etc and in a hairdressers probably sweeping up and making tea but itll earn you some cash. Or a paper round maybe....or you could do odd jobs for family or neighbours
Delivering free papers is quite a canny job as it's mainly a two hour thing (short but sweet). You get paid for the amount of papers delivered and extra for leaflets. There's even more money to be had when companies want their adverts delivered another day (so more chance of people looking at them) and pay extra. Look for the phone number of a free paper you get , ask who their distributor for your area is and then contact her/him. Good luck!
There's nothing like your first pay packet. Don't forget to treasure it in your memory box.
My son got a job at a garage for 4 hours on saturday mornings washing the cars. he also washed the staff cars for a few quid each - he earned more than me!
Are there any local companies nearby who work at weekends, maybe you could approach the Owner to see if you could wash the staff cars there.
How about helping the milkman (do they exist anymore?)
Babysitting, shopping for someone elderly, or doing their garden ?
Good luck to you, its nice to hear of someone who is willing to work.
