Hi, Sweetie......my last boss....the headteacher...was eccentric and very theatrical so working for him suited me very well....though like Pete65 I did enjoy working for myself too.

I'm lucky enough to have been able to give up work to raise my children, so I suppose they are now my employers!

Probably the best employers I've had, but the pay is crap.

I've only had 2 employers and they were both public sector (teaching then MOD). Probably my current one because the flexibility and T&Cs would probably be considered unbelievably pink and fluffy in the outside world.

My very first employer, When I was 16 I started an apprenticeship, my boss was a very strict man, he stood at the window of his office and wrote down the times we arrived for work, if we were late he would calculate every single minute lost and every three months it would be deducted from our wages. our lunch breaks were 15 minutes and not one minute longer and he came in to check on us to make sure! I learned all about work ethics and discipline from this man and all these years later and he has now passed away, I still have a great respect for him.

Yes Gness, we are leaving the Xmas shopping until next week, we are in Anglesey, my Mother is in a Care Home there, so whilst there we will do the chores.
