had had my hair streaked 2 weeks ago and my roots are coming through already and to be honest im not much for it as its o blonde and dont want to keep having it done every 2 weeks i was thinking about puting a light brown on it to fade the blonde as i still want it a bit blonde but not as bright (dont no if this makes sense.) plus i wont have to keep doing my roots my hair is naturally light brown.

i ment to say its to blonde not o blonde sorryxx
I wouldn't put any sort of colourant on top of your already highlighted areas as you could end up with a horrible dull colour and/or badly damage your hair causing it to break off (take it from my experience!). You could buy a highlight kit in Boots in a lightbrown/golden blonde colour and put a few streaks in (on virgin hair only) and that will help detract from the obvious contrast between your roots and the streaked areas. Next time you get your hair done, ask the hairdresser to put in two or three different shades so that the re-growth isn't so obvious.

what about trying one of these:

or next time ask the hairdresser to blend it finer so that the regrowth is less obvious? thats what i did with mine and it works fine!

I dont know whether its just my hair, but when i did a strand test on my highlighted hair to put a brown on, it turned out like a khaki green colour, so be careful that dont happen. Im glad it was just a strand test!

My natural hair colour is like a mousey brown and i desperately want to go back to brown but a nice brown rather than mousey.

from what i can remember from colleage to go from blonde back to brown coloring u need to put some sort of red back into your hair first then brown or it goes green
