I have just found out that the new actor playing Tom Archer is William Troughton and his real-life father David Troughton is the relatively new actor that is playing his on radio father Tony Archer !

DT is my joint first with Jon Pertwee. I'm not casting aspersions because these things happen, but isn't it amazing that they are father and son. Thanks to all who enabled me to listen to 'Blithe Spirit', by the way - amazing technology they have at Ambridge Village hall - and Mr. Snell is pretty good with his sound effects! Very enjoyable.

In deference to those amongst us that partake of the Sunday morning omnibus edition, I had better not make too much reference to tonight's episode, but suffice to say... awfully good news !
Bouquets to all the cast of "Blithe Spirit", well done.
Haven't listened yet but I bet that I can guess what the "awfully good news" is!
So can I - Sunday morning can't come quickly enough.
