Ripping 1 track from a CD
I have a CD that I bought in a club, mixed by the DJ on the night. When i play it on my PC it shows only one track, as they all merge into one. typically the one track I want is at the very end! Is there a way to rip just this one track. For example can I put breaks in the CD. Hope someone understands the question and can help.
Thanks

Not sure what to recommend - I've got soundforge but it's not great.
You'll need to load the CD onto your hard drive then edit the wav/mp3/wmv (or whatever you save it as) file. Just pinpoint where the track you want starts, and put a break there, then delete the rest and export the track to a new file.
Et voila!
With Audacity, just highlight the huge bit at the beginning that you want rid of and press Ctrl + K.
Then "export as mp3"
I'm not aware of any progs that can rip only part of one track as opposed to the whole thing. It seems as if your entire CD is stored as one song and you only want from the 30th to 35th minute for example.
