Nuisance Calls.

Have only had one since beginning of December. I don't know what has happened. I was getting sometimes twenty a day. Has anyone else noticed a drop in the numbers they are receiving?

Yes, I have.
I was patient with them and told them I did not need their services, and they removed me from their lists.
I did not get annoyed with them, but spoke calm!y in a pleasant manner, and it appears to have worked!

I very rarely answered them, I have caller display and if the number looked iffy I let it go to answer phone. They never left a message though.

Mine have decreased too.
I used to get an answering machine message a day from PPI or new boiler or somesuch. They have disappeared completely.
Also, after 5 years, the debt company who are pursuing the previous tenant have finally accepted that he doesn't live here any more. WOOHOO!

I've noticed a drop in the number of calls too, I'm glad to say.

I'm usually patient but they were beginning to annoy me, especially the "Don't worry, I'm not trying to sell you anything" introduction.

As soon as I see international or Withheld - the hackles go up - and then the withheld turns out to be my neighbour!

I rarely get nuisance calls, but y/day had my first call asking me to turn my p.c on because i have some problems with windows/ lol.
I told him I didnt have a p.c, and told him where to go!

Not too much. I keep the answering machine on at all times and screen everything.
