Ban The Burka?
Would you like to see the burka banned? I consider it a threat to national security, apart from anything else

Why is it that when those who disagree with some ABers view point they are labelled AB facists, the Ed needs to be told, so that he could consider such labels even more serious that the usual News Year' grumpiness, which he is presently concerned over.

Those on here who are unable to take part in a reasoned inyeligent debate, ????
And isn't that an unintelligent 'contradiction in terms'?

Oooh ....it talks ...fancy that!
Post him a nice friendly "bury the hatchet" style christmas greeting and it gets ignored, chance of a ruck, and he's there with the smoke billowing out of his ears!
AOG, we've been here time and time again:
1) re "...those who disagree with some ABers view point they are labelled AB facists"
...only a certain special few not all, my friend.
2) re "So pleased you added IMO which I suppose includes each and everyone who think differently to yourself?"
...do you actually know what "IMO" stands for? In My Opinion - now I know "owning" what you say rather than stating it as fact is alien to you. No it doesn't - don't be crass.
3) re "Yet more unnecessary name calling that continues to go on unnoticed".
It probably went "unnoticed" because it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular ...but if the cap fits ;-) (the inclusion of part of your chosen name is entirely coincidental).
Conclusion: I don't have a problem with people having their own opinions, what you don't seem to grasp is that if I see opinions with which I disagree, I'll react ...and if you don't like it, tough, this isn't a dictatorship.
It's a shame you only reply when you want friction.

This may be classed as a frivolous intervention (I think it is a valid point in the discussion), but I saw a woman (?) driving a car whilst wearing a burkha. Surely that must be illegal and render her insurance invalid because she has no peripheral vision? Should drivers, specifically, be banned from wearing the burkha? Also, motor-cyclists have to remove their helmets at petrol stations so that should also apply to the burkha, surely?
