Where Do I Aim For ?

I have friends in OZ they live in Yeppoon Queensland, which airport would I have to book to pls ? I would also like a stopover on the way there to break up the journey. Any suggestions ?

I`d aim for Brisbane. Don`t know about stopovers. Qantas do a lot of flights via Dubai nowadays but it`s a bit boring for a stopover.

When I flew to Oz, many years ago, I did a stopover in Singapore. It's a fantastic place to visit, with plenty to see and do.

As 237SJ suggests, Rockhampton is the nearest airport to Yeppon but you're not restricted to Brisbane as a staging point. Rockhampton is also served by flights from Sydney (which might offer better options for travel from the UK).
