I have an insinkerator which grinds all food waste (inc meat bones). Can I put tea bags in does anyone know?

No doubt janbee's friends have an inferior make of waste disposal unit. To show reluctance to drop down used teabags is quite frankly, ridiculous. For some amusement, try dropping down an old, inedible entire spring onion. The sight of it revolving at high RPM is a sight to see!

It beats me why anyone buys tea bags at all, they contain the worst quality tea, made from floor sweepings sold at an exorbitant price per cup, better use a tea strainer or tea ball; http:// www.coo ksinfo. com/tea -balls . Loose tea is far superior in quality and choice and far cheaper and readily compostable too, - wise up!
