Why Do Programmes Have To Carry Certain Messages?

I personally thought that last nights Birds of a Feather was completely spoilt by the introduction of Sharron's health issue, and then in amongst the closing credits we got the usual "If you have been affected by blah, blah, blah...........

These days one expects this kind of thing in more serious programmes or Soaps etc, but this is a comedy aimed to amuse and relax.

I for one will not be watching part two of this story line.

'Birds of a Feather' is that a comedy I thought it were that they flocked together, type show.

Think you are being silly myself. It may not interest you but if they can get one person to think about it and check, then good on them. Some people don't watch "serious" programmes BTW.

I think it was well executed. It was still funny but it had a serious ending. It will draw in people who are curious as well as those who like the comedy within the story line.

All types of shows from comedies to dramas and all in between touch on subjects that affect the population - a short message at the end to give access to more information is not a problem is it?
