I'm stuck in one area, basically I think I've made a mistake, but can't trace it!
The clues may have a mistaken letter in the definition.
36 across: Fool dumps wife before the fun (5) ?IT??
19 down: Player's turn to be advised in a short time (5) ?TBA?
28 down: A note penned in English by king acting for an African city (7) KA?ANG? (I think it should be Kananga but can't understand the wordplay.
Thanks in advance
Best I could come up with for KANANGA is ANG (meaning "in English") penned in "AN A" i.e. "a note" by K (King) but I don't know how the "acting for" bit comes in.
