Smoking In Pubs?
48 Answers
My dad plays gigs in pubs for a living and buisness has been going down ever since he law was past for no smoking indoors. Whatever pub you go in they say they know they won't last much longer and it won't get better again because people can no longer smoke indoors. Then you get the arguments about health issues but its up to you if you go in. I think it should be up to the place if they want people to smoke or not. Now E-Cigarettes are here but people are now even saying you shouldn't smoke them inside because of health issues. Nanny state? I think so. People can't make their own chooses now.

I am not calling the smokers, that their choice but in a place made for them, the stench on your clothes after been in the company of a Smoker is dreadful, I know I've been there.

I don't smoke, OH does. It doesn't stop him going to pubs. Personally, I'd stop going to pubs and restaurants if smoking was allowed again. The "sod you" attitude of some smokers really gets my goat - smoke if you must, but not where I've no choice than to be polluted by your smoke. OH and his friends smoke outside the pub, and outside the house too - he doesn't want a home reeking of smoke, any more than I do.
The trouble is smokers are used to breathing in the fumes from their cancer sticks and obviously don't realise how obnoxious they are
Maybe they should try lying down next to a cars exhaust and breathe in the fumes, then they would realise what non-smokers used to have to put up with in pubs/bookies etc
