I am curious why, in this tragic case, Becky’s surname is Watts, yet her father, who is married to the accused’s mother, is Darren Galsworthy. Press report reads - "Becky's stepbrother, Nathan Matthews, is seen in a photograph with Becky's father, Darren Galsworthy, and his wife, Matthew's mother, Anjie Galsworthy."

Darren Galsworthy might not have been her biological father, but might have been Her adoptive father.

Perhaps Becky had her mother's surname, maybe her parents weren't married. There seems to be lots of steps involved her family.
