No Wireless Connection On Laptop

I have no wireless internet connection on my Laptop this morning. The connection is fine on the ipad, and I'm using it now. It simply says no network connections available. I've tried a reboot.

I've just loaded photos from my camera and wanted to email and print some. I could find an ethernet cable, but that means emptying the cupboard, any other ideas?

This might sound silly, but have you switched-off the network connection. On my HP laptop there is a blue "aerial" symbol, which is blue when wireless is on and red when it's off. You can switch it via menus but touching the symbol also toggles it. If you've caught the button inadvertently you might just have switched it off. (I've been known to do ).

I only ask as I spent way longer than I should hae trying to fix the same problem on my laptop once and was slightly embarrassed when Mr Boo just switched it on.
