Even if/when caught, the culprits won't REALLY be made to pay for their crime.

I know it's upsetting but it is only equipment and can be replaced,it would be really devastating if some dick head had attacked the nest when it was occupied and damaged the eggs or chicks.

True Tilly, is the place isolated?I know these places usually have a 24 hour watch once the birds arrive so perhaps it may be possible to get some volunteers to do a random security patrol until then.
