Cetti and smudge - I hate you! ;)

I have been watching this eagle's nest ALL DAY!!!!
Nest Cam

I hope they finish hatching soon so I can actually get some work done!

Has anyone else been as hypnotized by this as I am?

Afraid so, estie. The ironing is piling up and there's dust everywhere, but who cares?

Oh dear estie, I apologise profusely for making you sit down and watch these gorgeous creatures all and every day.

I am truly very wicked and hang my head in shame!!

Be very greatful you missed my first post and been watching since March 31st.....LOL!!!

Hi estie!..Cetti,is right!...I am one of the poor fools that have been hooked since her first post!...Enough already! lol !

I am a terrible procrastinator, and I have a HUGE exam in 2 weeks, and this is terrible ;)

I really am enjoying it though!

Hi Estie - sorry I'm late, was out all day yesterday so just catching up!

I've been tuning in this morning & Edwina & Ezzie both look quite fidgety covering the nest - p'raps the little ones are on their way out at last!

Question Author

Oh, I do hope so, smudge! I am getting no work done and my exam is in 12 days!

Hope you're well,
estie

Ah, thank you estie, I'm not too bad thank you.

I can't keep away from the nest now, it's quite exciting!

I wish you the very best of luck in your exams. Take care.

This is terrible, the birth could be very soon and the server is on overload... the dreaded black screen!!

Perhaps she's shy and doesn't want us to share her treasured moment. Doesn't she realise what we're all going through, not knowing?

Question Author

I know :(

On the one hand I am so mad that everyone knows about it and now no one can see it, but on the other hand I never would have seen it if it wasn't posted on here or all over the media.

I guess we can watch it tonight (well tomorrow morning for you) on replay. It seems to switch over to replay around 11:45PM here (4:45AM English time).

Have you been reading the forums on there? I have been trying to keep up that way. Do you guys have user names on there?

E xx

I've been watching her/his feathers blowing in the breeze - wonderful.

I did think of joining their Forum estie, but I don't think it would leave much time for other activities - like AB and eating, sleeping.....the unimportant stuff!

It's great fun reading the posts though and I believe I spotted lindapinda's name, but not too sure about that.

I managed to pull myself away from it for a few hours today. It is amazing how much work you can get done when you're not glued to your computer!

Hope the babies are OK - as time goes on I get more and more concerned.

It's 14.10 in UK and she just moved about a bit and it looked like the 2 eggs are still whole. Think this should be a live picture at this time, but not sure.
17.20 UK time, and they just did a changeover, and both eggs are showing nice healthy-looking cracks. Did anyone see it? It's like being a Granny all over again!!
Question Author

Any time now!!!!

There is a big round crack at the top of the first egg... baby is on it's way! I hope it'll make it.

Ezzy can't handle the strain!!
