Labour Voter And Tory Voter

In spite of their political differences, a Labour voting man and a Conservative woman decide they will get married.
However, on their wedding night they end up arguing about politics and by bedtime they at opposite ends of the bed not speaking to each other.
After a while the woman begins to feel aroused and whispers to the man "There's been a split in the Conservative party and if the Labour member stood he'd get in easily.....
"Too late !" came the anguished reply, "He's already stood as an Independent and lost his deposit !! "
