Amazon Shopping Basket

I am trying to do some on-line shopping with Amazon, but made a mistake putting wrong items in the Amazon shopping basket. I cannot now find how to empty that basket. Can someone help please?

Click on each individual item and just below it there a delete button.

Go into the basket and delete the item

Actually, if you click on your basket all the items should come up.

Also if you don't see a "delete" button - there will be a cross/x - that means to delete too.
