For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Oven ready they come in at about 1/2 a pound, so about 4 ounces..the meat is very lean, darker than a partridge and gamier....a good butcher will bone and stuff them for you, so again about 1/2 a pound per person or 1 stuffed bird. Extra flavour can be added with the choice of two stuffings in the cavities - say, a gluten free apricot and walnut stuffing or a pork free apricot, apple and ginger stuffing.
