icons help

hi there...does anyone know how i can reduce the size of icons ...in fact everything even the writing is coming up large!...i have minimised the pages but they are still large...can anyone help me please (simple language please)

What are you trying to do? Use a website icon or your own icon as a folder? If you mean the IE screen with icons and text size then click on the view - go down to text and it will open a drop down menu whereby you can choose the size you need.

If you are talking icons being to big I can tell you how to reduce those.You are not too clear with what you are trying to do.

sorry..should have been more specific.....when i turned on my pc, the desk top came on and i noticed all the icons were very large and when i pressed "start and all programmes" a note came up to say"all the icons could not be shown because they were to large and for me to alter them"...but it did not tell me how..?

Open Display in Control Panel.
On the Appearance tab, click Effects.

You can untick large icons in here. If this is not the problem then check your screen resolution size.

If nothing else works try re-installing your graphics card drivers.

yes kerplunk's method will work - my icons and print are very small as I set my resolution to make them so.........try that idea as I think that will be your answer.

hi...sorry to be so thick...but how do i get to the grahics-card driver?
