Good Morning Early Birds!
78 Answers
Saturday. Lots of cloud making it seem like it's still night. Not too warm either. Tiggy didn't stay out long, had his supper and looked at me as if to say 'Ta squire. I'm off back to bed. Night night' And off he went. He had his favourite smoked pancetta, so he was happy.
As I type the cloud is drifting away, but it's going the wrong way, south, on a Northerly wind. The prevailing wind here south westerly, so it's not looking good. Oh well.
Have a happy day everyone.

Morning all !
Beautiful morning here in Swansea...very mild and no wind. Forecast looks wonderful...should be 17-18 degrees later on !
Had a lovely morning working in the Tredegar area yesterday. These Valleys communities are so friendly. One OAP wanted to make me soup and sandwich, as she said I looked "peaky"
Peaky ! I am well over 18 stone, and have never been described as "peaky"
I am not even sure of the spelling peeky, or peaky ?
Anyway, what a nice old lady !
Then took in a visit to see an old friend who is in hospital in Brecon, so a wonderful drive over the mountains...what stunning landscape we do have here in South Wales, and at this time of year, it looks its best. Masses of bluebells everywhere and still loads of little lambs !
A good to be alive day, thats for sure.

Go on holiday and lose weight then - wow - but there are some lovely fish in the Med! One of my fav meals of all time was in a beach caff in Cyprus, a superb feta salad and then fish, chosen out of an old Coke fridge that was being used for storage and simply bbqed, a couple of beers each and for a fiver, Cypriot pounds for two.
Time to be off here, so have a good one all of you, grass cutting for me.

You need Sqad really but I did a unit on Physiology and that part of the brain is frantically trying to recall all the factors at play with fluid retention. Hot climate would certainly mess with your body's salt balance, which would influence fluid retention, in general. However, localised to the feet and ankles I would put it down to pooling of blood because you were stood up more than usual, yet not walking around enough to work the lymphatic system fully.
If exercise made the swelling worse then my thinking is wrong.
Since the swelling is due to fluid being pushed out of capillaries into the flesh, under pressure, loose fitting shoes which don't restrict the circulation would be a big help and strenuous exercise which increased your blood pressure even more might make it worse. You need GP advice, not mine.
Morning everyone else. Hope you are all well. I need to get some sunshine while it lasts. :D
