Started our journey home this morning, on our way to the hotel at Alencon we got stopped by the police. Two of them on motorbikes, made us turn into a parking area.
Told OH he had been stopped for speeding doing 128k in a 90k zone. Twenty minutes later and lots of paperwork and a €90 fine we were on our way.
After he had the lecture from me. I'm always on at him about speeding. So now I have my eyes on the speedo and the satnav that tells me the speed limit and he gets told to slow down.
He doesn't like it one bit, but now I have the ammo to make him take notice.
I must admit though the french roads are superb. Very long and straight for miles and no potholes or ruts anywhere.
So I hope lessons will be learnt.
Shoota he has already paid the fine, it was on the spot €90. At the same time a french man was pulled in and breathalysed. Don't know what happened to him, still there when we left.
I've already exaggerated the number he will get. Lots of mutterings going on.
I think I will have the upper hand till we get home. I almost feel sorry for the old ***.
