Anybody Know What This Plant Is?

Been searching the internet but not having much luck. This plant was in the garden when we moved but have no idea what it is so don't know when to cut back etc it's got dark green leaves with yellow edges and pale pink flowers on it. It's got quite a thick stem almost tree like

It looks to me like a variegated weigela although can't see the flowers clearly.

Yes it is, we've got one in our garden, It's about 8 feet high. Sometimes I get my knuckles w rapped for agreeing with whats already been said but I don't really mind.
Yes, It's a Weigela and I've just discovered that I've been wrongly pronouncing it 'weigelia' for many years. Learning all the time ;-)
