We got a new toilet and the old one (Armitage Shanks, Beige colour) is lying around the yard. Is there any market for these or is the skip its next home? It is not damaged except for small parts which can be replaced.

Do you have an organisation like "Freegle" near you? It's internet based and I'm always amazed by what people are on the lookout for.
You could try http://www.salvoweb.com/bathroom/reclaimed-salvaged/forsale.html

Or you could make it into a quirky planter.
I was just about to suggest that mosaic. A few weeks ago we had lunch in a little cafe on the moors and 2 were being used as planters, they looked really good and I did a double-take before I realised.
Porkers ... I haven't seen a Sun King yellow WC for thirty years. Sadly, no resale value... unless someone's going seriously retro ;o)
TB has been throwing money in the skip for years and not realised it ... http://tinyurl.com/kfmt4vl

If you stick it on ebay as a 'buy it now' the maximum length of time. If someone want's it .. they want it .. if they don't then put some tomato plants in it.

pity you haven't got two to get rid of - you could sell them as a B.O.G.O.F deal

i'll get my coat
Well, who'd have thought it? Just looked at Mose's and Homer's links.

Oh, how we laughed as we smashed these up with a hammer :o(((((
