go out drinking?

I appear to be one of the few ABers that likes to go out and have a good session.

Will I grow out of it?

I love pubs - always have. Sitting at home drinking is not the same.

Sorry I had to leave this thread last night I didn't realise there would be someone who didn't quite understand. ummmm you are correct,

Master builder - and I've got more than ten years than you.... the drink drive ban wasn't quite enforced people still carried on driving out to pubs for a good long while after the law came in, I was the one usually with the lemonade. Continuing changes - cheaper supermarket beer/spirits including the smoking ban put people off going out socially, also the Breweries upped the rents on the premises so too the cost of their beer, at the same time trying to keep up to the insane idea that longer opening hours would stop binge drinking. All of which has killed the community local. Being petty really doesn't do you any justice..
Too expensive now as well. Just been to a Christening at a village church. Three of us had a drink before hand, 3 & 1/2 pints over £15 at the local pub!
Time was when I would have drunk twice that on my own!
