Why are we giving all these families this publicity?
I suppose it's an important story and the press want to report it because that's their role. I suppose the authorities are trying to find out exactly what has happened to UK citizens so they can either rescue them find who's funded it and prevent others doing the same- and by reporting it they may get information from the public. And maybe it's also a warning to families to be alert to what wives, children/family members may be planning
