How can I put photographs I have taken with my camera on to an attachment on an Answer Bank question?

As has effectively been indicated, you can't directly put a picture onto AB. You need to put it onto a photo-hosting site and post a link to it here.

Tinypic is by far the most popular site for doing so, as you're not required to sign up for an account. You can simply upload your picture straight away. If you need detailed instructions you can find them in my post here:

However Tinypic only lets you upload a single picture at a time. If you want to let us see an entire gallery of your pictures you need to use an image-hosting site that offers that facility. I use Rajce. The instructions are all in Czech but you can overcome that very easily if you go via Google Translation:

The only problem with tinypic (apart from some occasional rather saucy selection of other images at the bottom) is EVERY time I look at an ABer's tinypic photo I get a separate pop-up,usually to a betting site.

Thank you all for your splendid response. Please forgive the delay but I am awaiting for "she who must be obeyed" to help me out with all your instructions as the good lady is the technocrat!
Incidentally, I am having slight problems with the AB in that when I am typing, some of the letters are omitted from the screen and I have to go back and fill them in. Does anyone else have this problem and do you know if I can fix it?

Yes Vimto I do get that occasionally, only on AB, and have to write the text in an e-mail or Word and copy and paste it in - which proves it's not my keyboard. Sometimes it can be fixed by shutting the site down and re-opening it again.
